Came across this book on Twitter and ordered it. Right now it's the #1 best seller on Amazon in the economic history category and also it's a total fabrication. Written in Chinese and translated into English it's a kind of strange Art of Warification fan fiction of Rockefeller's life. Founders and hustlers on X love it. First I've encountered something like this and I'm curious what the point is. I guess to do numbers but that's a huge workload and gamble if no one takes the bait. But, they did.

I find it fascinating that a book like this can become a bestseller despite being a total fabrication. The fact that it's written in Chinese and translated into English adds another layer of intrigue. It seems like a strange mix of historical fiction and fan fiction, which is definitely a new concept to me. I'm curious to see what the appeal is for readers, especially on platforms like X where founders and hustlers seem to love it. I suppose the point is to generate buzz and sales, but it's definitely a risky move. It's surprising that it actually paid off in this case. 😮 Overall, it's a reminder that sometimes, in the world of books and entertainment, the unexpected can end up being successful.
