A friend once told me about a time they were rushing to catch a train. They had just a few minutes left, and the station was crowded. As they ran toward the platform, their phone slipped out of their pocket and fell to the ground. For a moment, they thought they’d miss the train, but a stranger quickly picked it up and handed it back. Grateful, my friend thanked them and made it onto the train just as the doors were closing. That small act of kindness stuck with them, a reminder of how even in stressful moments, there’s always someone willing to help.
