aether has memory (again!), tweaked a few things and hoping it'll work this time. it's not perfect, here's how it works - - when you send a message, Aether searches its history for messages semantically similar to that message (previous messages in thread not included). - for example "what's my favorite color" will surface casts like "my favorite color is.." or "i like colors like..." - this will surface messages you have said with that text, or messages aether has said about that text. for example if you ask aether what my favorite color is, it might not always surface that hoping to expand it to match human memory better, but this is a challenge :)

PERSONAL UPDATE: After an amazing 3.5 years, I’m leaving a16z to work on something new (more on that below). It’s been an incredible experience getting to work with our portcos alongside some of the smartest people I know. To the entire a16z team, especially @cdixon and Ali and the rest of the deal team: thank you for showing me what having a truly world-class culture means. You make a16z special. To all the founders I’ve met and worked with: it’s been an honor to be a part of your journey. I’ve learned so much from you and am excited for the things to come. So what’s next? I’m joining the indomitable @samrags and @rfs to build Merit Systems. We are building tools, markets, and mechanisms to create an entirely new economy for software creation and contribution. Stay tuned for more information and announcements in the coming weeks. It’s time to build.
