🧠I’ve had limited but only very positive experiences providing liquidity. I don’t deposit anything I will need in an emergency. I think I mostly understand impermanent loss but I don’t think I fully understand ways in which it could go south fast. At what point do I lose it all? I’ve read all the FAQ’s but I’m looking for examples or personal stories and what you learned. Would you mind sharing? By brain processes better this way

if you understand impermanent loss, as a very inexperienced lp provider, i can see 2 other things: 1. the biggest lp provider withdraws, then your lp is stuck because pulling out will kill it from slippage 2. an actual rug on the underlying token, price go to zero and you will hold a huge amount of worthless tokens

First of all, thank you so much! I know people are hesitant to answer these questions. I also know I appear lazy asking. I’ve read and practiced but most of the reading assumes I understand this stuff more adeptly. Aerodrome is the easiest for me to understand. Uniswap doesn’t show me as much. Is there a way to see more information about the pool? As a general rule, what makes a pool size or # of providers feel less threatening or more promising to you? I’m currently providing ANON/eth on uni, Clanker/eth on uni and ham/weth on Aerodrome. Fees feel too good to be true so I am curious your thoughts if you are willing to share I, Trish understand you’re not giving me financial advice and anything you choose to share is for educational purposes only 222 $degen 🍖x3333
