Apple

Here's a short list of Mac utilities apps I've actively used in the past year. 

Great:
- Rectangle (allows you to use hotkeys to snap active app to edge/portion of monitor, or move it across monitors)
- Lunar (for detailed controls of your external monitor brightness)
- Amphetamine (granular controls for preventing Mac from sleeping)

Ok:
- TextSniper (copying uncopy-able text in videos/jpegs/etc)
- Alfred (a supercharged Spotlight replacement, allows you to download/create scripts to do all things of thing directly from the "Spotlight" interface)
- Unclack (mutes your mic whenever you're typing)

Meh:
- LittleSnitch (network monitor for the cautious/paranoid, don't use it often, think it is a great product but i'm not the target audience)

What do you use nowadays? I know there’s ray cast which is super cool but I really don’t like (any) subscription model.
