Altman Rejects Musk’s $97 Billion Takeover Offer for OpenAI

⏺ OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has turned down a $97.4 billion acquisition bid from a group led by Elon Musk. The offer, significantly lower than OpenAI’s current valuation, comes amid legal disputes between Musk and Altman. 

⏺In response, Altman jokingly offered to buy X (formerly Twitter) for $9.74 billion. While OpenAI’s board has yet to weigh in, the move highlights ongoing tensions over the company's future.
