I know the recent bans didn’t sit well with everyone. We used a rule-based approach to target sybils, but it’s a tough battle, and we’re just two people. If you got caught in the crossfire, I’m sorry. There was collateral damage, but we also hit a lot of big farmers.

These decisions aren’t easy, but they’re made for the community’s long-term health. If you’re feeling discouraged, I get it. Tipping was meant to be fun—sharing memes, onboarding new users—not a paycheck.

Let’s bring back that energy: meme, create, and enjoy the space without stressing over prices. Moving forward, we’ll act on community reports and evidence instead of broad rules. Policing isn’t fun, but without it, some ruin the game for everyone.

‘Preciate the clear expectations. I was always very transparent that I was using my tip allowance to pay rent — through @mcdegen — while I work on my book. One of the benefits of walking in the light is that I can say with integrity I wasn’t doing anything in secret, nor trying to cheat the system. That being said, been a nice little mindset shift back to the basics of degen, and the more I think about it, I do believe this will benefit the community (and price of the token) longterm.

Tbh you didn't do anything wrong...you were presented an opportunity and used it without stealing from anyone. Your keys your crypto & noone should tell you what to do with what is in your wallet. The system is and has been broken for a long time. Whats worse is the whole of last week was full of x posts advertising what they are now seemingly at times discouraging here now.
