If more than 1.5 Bn adults don’t have access to the financial system and in the US >6% don’t have bank accounts and CBDC can help, why not include this in the current financial systems and start “moneying” without creating a bank accnt

The case for CBDC is still unclear or I could be dumb, real possibility!

If the CBDC (or private stablecoin) can just require a bit less friction than traditional bank accounts, then I think it will help the unbaked.

No but seriously, what friction is there to opening an online bank account that can be solved with a CBDC?  I can open an account in 5 mins but must supply my ID.
