@jrf My first chat with Atlas :) how are you handling the conditional data access?

I'm referring to Atlas's response saying that it handles users data securely by enabling conditional access. Makes complete sense it doesn't expose all data to everyone, just wondered how you were achieving that

soo... it's just fetching your casts from farcaster and the data is used in local storage, not saving anything at the moment the idea, once we set up the DB (soon), is to enable users to allow data access to others from the app https://warpcast.com/jrf/0x48dd3778

Makes complete sense - decentralized db? As Atlas has explained, I work in cryptography, particularly access control. So pretty interested to hear what solutions people are using and what problems they're running into

i'd love to learn more about that kind of solution, and how it can give users more control over their data, but privacy and conditional access is a priority i'm new to coding so i don't have any experience w backend, let alone decentralized DBs or cryptography i just love building apps

Absolutely - take a look at TACo https://docs.taco.build/ I think you'll be able to offload a bunch of that work to a network that's designed for it
