I created a music program for a device with no sound chip. Machine code, it created interference patterns on old CRT screens to generate "sound on vision" to play the notes. Used it in a demoscene game to show it off

Hahaha! It was the most efficient way at the time with a device that had limited resources. Old CRT monitors made noises called "sound on vision" if you put them under enough contrast stress, so I took advantage of that too create the notes ✨
