there is some truth to this, but thats also how I felt upon initially starting. 

a few things I would suggest to people:
- consistently replying to accounts you like, thoughtfully, even challenging what they are saying
- join a gated community with a group chat, get to know some larger accounts within other social contexts, people will typically then follow or engage more over time
- cast thoughtfully in channels, often times a channel owner will engage if your post is interesting

what specifically is different between feb and today? power badge?

Best way to get power badge/engagement on Farcaster. 

1. Find a project/channel you like.

2. Get some skin in the game.
(Ex: art/memes/essays/buying token/build something) 

3. Reply with thoughtful comments. 

4. DM people who standout to you and develop a relationship.
