I think they still have an impact in the background. Since losing mine my follow rate has reduced considerably, although I have been told new followers are down for PB holders too.

Pretty sure they were just hidden.  last week a few hundred people did lose them and WC/FC team is whittling them down.  I think 2000 people still have them
