Exactly! For me a log stack is a form of art and making a ton of kindling all ready to go is very satisfying to me 😊

I burned for free for years because my neighbor cleared some land and he had the trees dropped in my yard, I bucked and split them all, now I’m back to paying for it, $575 for 2 cord, but the savings I’ve had in oil for the past few years have paid for it. And you’re right it’s the process, making kindling, stacking it up just right, the little bit of love and care to get it going and keep it going, I absolutely love it all
