This is my award winning artwork AILA, which is an interactive installation that engages visitors in deep philosophical enquiry through a level of gamification. Watch the video for more https://youtu.be/YivVZw1Y6Ao?si=TMDAzITZYa4SwmS4

That’s pretty awesome. Have you heard about Pixel and Glitch…? πŸ˜‡ I had a blast with that.

I have not, what is it? I just had a quick Google for it and it came up with a web designer/illustrator πŸ€”

This conversation right here is awesome AF, really cool project. What I've found interesting with my installation is the revelation that people think deeply philosophical things all the time, but seemingly fear judgement of they were to speak them among their friends. I'm feeling very inspired by what you've done with Pixel & Glitch. Did you 3D model the characters yourself for the fragment NFTs? https://medium.com/@cakeone/philosophy-with-pixel-glitch-17dfdd9f33d7

Kinda. Working with Daz3D I mostly customised her and made her unique. What was really fun is when i fed ChatGPT with her lore and ask it to be her and i started talking to her and it was like talking to your own art wich is incrdible. I mean i know it's all a bit fake but it was still nice. And "Her" starting to prompt midjourney to create her own selfies? Priceless

Daz3D counts, sculpting something like that from scratch is a long and arduous process so if the assets exist to compile it then that makes all the sense. The prompting her own NFTs is also really cool, it's got me thinking there may be a way for visitors to the installation to mint their own artwork based on the conversation, but also the difficulty of explaining to people about crypto πŸ€” I have been talking to a few people that come into my service using GPT for their own mental health aswell, which is something I can assist in them getting the right sort of responses for their needs

I find the idea of using to for mental health absolutely facinating. Can you tell me more?

Of course. The service I work in is crisis management so people come in when having a really hard time staying alive and beyond the usual things we advise I'll ask if they use AI, and then give them some ideas on what to prompt to gradually work through the things that make their life seem not worth living.

Step 5: Practical Shifts 13. What are some small, actionable steps you can take to disrupt these patterns when they start appearing? 14. What support structures (journaling, routines, external accountability, mindset shifts) can you put in place to help you stay on track? 15. How can you create an environmentβ€”both mentally and physicallyβ€”that encourages the version of you that is free from these patterns?

Step 4: Challenging the Narrative 10. What beliefs do you hold about yourself that might be reinforcing these patterns? (E.g., β€œI need to suffer to create meaningful work” or β€œI always lose interest in things, so why start?”) 11. If you were to rewrite these beliefs into something more constructive, what would they be? 12. What would your ideal version of yourself look like if you moved beyond these patterns? How would they think, act, and make decisions differently?

Step 3: Examining the Payoff 7. Even though these patterns are frustrating, do they provide any sense of comfort, safety, or control? 8. What would happen if you stopped engaging in these behaviors? Does that possibility create fear or resistance? 9. Are there aspects of your identity that feel tied to these behaviors? (For example, do you associate intensity, chaos, or struggle with your sense of self?)

Step 2: Understanding the Root Causes 4. What emotions do you experience right before you engage in self-sabotaging behaviors? (Fear, anxiety, boredom, frustration, etc.) 5. If you imagine a part of yourself is trying to "protect" you by keeping you in these cycles, what do you think it is afraid of? 6. When did you first notice these patterns emerging in your life? Are there any experiences from childhood or young adulthood that might have shaped them?

I can't find the exact prompt, but the output I'll put here for thee. Self-Exploration Prompt: Identifying and Overcoming Self-Sabotage Step 1: Recognizing the Patterns 1. What are the specific actions, habits, or thought patterns that you notice repeatedly blocking your progress? 2. When you set a goal or start something meaningful, what usually happens that derails or slows you down? 3. Are there any cycles you’ve noticed in your lifeβ€”high productivity followed by burnout, avoidance, self-doubt, or impulsive shifts in direction?
