But if students are not getting involved in the deep ends of crypto, it’s also a pity since they could be building experience towards the long term in an ever-growing industry, and also likely to have more time to participate and experiment compared to the older generations.

Are current university students generally keeping up with the opportunities in this space? My sense is that most don’t even know the potential of what they could earn or how to even get started, like with a lot of salaried workers out there.

The pre-runes to runes gameplay can be quite interesting. It requires a level of understanding of the characteristics of non-fungible and fungible assets (psychology, price action). I think one of the winning plays will be runes infrastructure though. And easier to manage over keeping up with all the different runes.

For any projects that find marketing challenging, study Web3 culture. Points/Airdrops are a big part of that, but shouldn't be the main focus. I'll buy if I see the community having fun with memes. I'll skip if I see the community only building math models.

Memecoins go up because the meme resonates across many communities, and exit liquidity may potentially be retail when it gets to top exchanges. Often times late memecoin enjoyooors are the exit liquidity. Understand what type of coin you are creating. Not all memecoins are equal. Also $degen is a very strong meme.

Community coins are very different from Memecoins. Sure, community coins have meme elements but often the meme only resonates with people within the community. Community coins go up because members are diamond handed, demand comes in through community expansion. Exit liquidity is usually new members.

Can also start from Web3 and try to build a product later. But it's definitely not easy as well. Hardest approach prob going from Web2 to a hybrid approach.

Recently, I've been thinking about the different approaches which founders use to build in web3. At a high level I think we can group like this: - Web2 (corporate, product) - Web3/Web2 Hybrid (community+vision) - Web3 (degen, memes, vibes, grassroots) Thinking about building a framework to explore each.

It's still so early days and we are seeing community organizing themselves in here. It's great to see many channels with community content but I think in the future, we will move towards community curated content. A lot of channels right now feel a little cluttered, since the quality varies from post to post.
