Shipping Industry's Role in Global Emissions: We love boats and we love global trade but the shipping industry accounts for 2-3% of global emissions. The exploration of carbon capture technologies on ships seems like a critical step towards reducing this environmental footprint. What’s still unclear is what the best and most edge method might be for curtailing the carbon emissions of global shipping.

that’s good… I remember learning on one Earth day that raising large animals for food creates more carbon than all vehicles combined.
