Just to add my 2 cents on season 6.

I think @jacek did a great job here. 

Rigth now you can get a max of 10K degen and you need to lock down around 1.23M degen to get it.

So far 554M was locked and that played and imho will continue to play a great roll in keeping the price of degen high, which makes all the tips you get much more valuable.

Whilst he’s done a great job, this 554m represents about 4% of total circulating supply (about 1.5% of fdv). Given there’s still c.60% of the total supply to be released, going to need a lot more users/stalkers to see any upward price movement, and for that we need genuine uses for degen (I.e. stuff people are willing to pay for). The tipping mechanic is great, love the idea of rewarding people for good content but wonder what would happen if it was already ‘rain-only’ (so tipping degen meant actually paying people rather than just tipping future airdrops).

And like you say, we like tipping.
But it’s not really if it’s not coming from your pocket. 
At the same time, look at ham, where you can overtip from your own supply. Maybe something to consider? @jacek @wake.eth 

I hope this is the start of what you described. A culture for tipping. Real tipping. (I want to build on this!)
