I was not a fan of Western RPGs before the Xbox 360 era
I think it was because the PS2 only had JRPGs! 
but in 2007, after playing Mass Effect 1
and convinced this guy that he was indoctrinated and managed to escape a boss fight using dialog options, at that point I became an RPG Junkie  😅
