i guess i just don’t like being tracked or treated like a datapoint. there’s no obvious cost, but it still feels invasive. i’ve started slowly moving away from some free services, especially for stuff like email when it involves private info like banking google scanning all my emails just to target ads back at me is... meh. and yeah, you’re right it doesn’t hurt or costs me day-to-day. but when you actually look at what’s been collected without you realizing, it’s kind of unsettling
