They buy the certificate 🚀 a type of nft paper certificate. The banana is just a symbol and seriously or not it has inspired many artists to recreate it. Overpriced in my opinion but I’ve seen worst art selling for more. It’s limited editions, it isn’t a unique piece the artist sold a few in 2019 around 150k
