I'm still amazed that I got to watch that process, albeit from a distance. 

As usual there are lots of similarities in our paths. (Thank you, Juno Moneta). Black Stone Sanctuary isn't a monastic order as such. But we're using our FC channel as a home base for an onchain monastic presence, and our long-term goal is to establish an IRL monastery and incubation retreat space. 

I went through a similar thought process about the potential of DAOs when I got into crypto. I'm a bit soured on DAOs after some disappointing early experiences, though. Do hope you'll have better luck than I did!
