The culture of hypergamblisation is bleeding into RL. IG campaigns with capped lottery numbers are becoming more and more rampant. It’s clear what meme coins represent to me now, they’re an adult lucky dip in steroids. Endeavour prize homes etc, aren’t all that new, the idea of raffles bleeds into meme coins

Adding to this, it’s clear that traditional lottery systems yield next to no return, yet amass weekly diehard followers. Meme coins are an egalitarian redistribution of the ever growing attention economy Meme coins are here to stay, and I can see them becoming tribalistic. An online collective of like minded peeps
