please stop calling NFTs free when it's literally not free

I was going on about this for weeks at one point... it's a stage we all must go through xD I just paid 3$ for a free mint. I don't understand why all these platforms decrease their hardcoded 0.000777 platform fee to 0.000234 and we'd all be happy and mint like crazy. I rarely mint "free" stuff anymore out of protest.

Yea I even think Jesse brought up this “issue” at some podcasts. I understand monetization required by platforms but 3$ per free mint is unnecessary.

It’s not even the 0.000777 price that bothers me — more so the positioning from people and brands who act as if it doesn’t exist!
