I know a lot of people who earn six figures, but live paycheck to paycheck & save very little

I also know a lot of people who earn average incomes, but manage to retire early in their 40s & 50s

It's not how much you make that is important, but how much you get to keep

Yep the thing wealthy people get that average people don't is that they feel their money is wasted if it's not continuing to make money for them. They don't have this compulsive need to impress people with lambos and yachts because they're secure enough to not care what other people think.
