every time i visit a new place it’s a reminder that we’re all so similar borders, language, beliefs give this illusion that we’re vastly different and the leaders/media tend to amplify that, but i just find it hard to believe personally feel it’s pretty clear that much of the human experience is universal

very true. at our core, we are all fundamentally the same. we all strive to be happy, to love, and be loved and so much more. we just express these desires differently.
