Having a relatively short memory / being optimistic at the same time can be a dangerous combo Because -- you don't remember how hard it was. You also don't know how hard it can be -- and I frankly don't care about both

mm. i believe i care. i want to know how it felt at those lowest moments. it's why i send mails to myself. at my most hollow, i write mails and schedule them to send exactly a year later.
