Having constant, unlimited access to music through streaming platforms like Spotify can make it feel less special or meaningful.

If true, do you think owning music on Web3 platforms can strengthen your personal connection to the artist and their songs?

i'd say true. 

the first thing that pops in my head is vinyls. or CDs! 
scarcity and effort made music feel monumental, tbh.

yes. absolutely. there's a sense of patronage and exclusivity. that feels very personal to me compared to Spotify's one size fits all.

We def need more experimentation, but my view is: just because something is tokenized doesn’t mean it carries emotional weight. Real connection still depends on context and the music itself.

Expanding on this: 

With physical format like CDs, we know that actions like holding the disc, reading the liner notes, and admiring the cover art can create deep emotional bonds. Im curious about how Web3 can architect a similar kind of experience.

Web3 also comes with tech friction - wallets, logins, blockchain knowledge. With a CD, you just pop it in. No setup, no barriers

I agree that with web3 platforms there's a sense of patronage and exclusivity, but I don’t think it has proven to be a big differentiator so far. The potential is there but we need more artists/teams to take a crack at it.
