I think a natural extension of this idea is that an app can make revenue from ads, thus subsidizing costs for users and providing access for free. Is it feasible?

I believe that Chris @cdixon.eth Dixon will forever (or at least for as long as I'm alive) be remembered as someone who relentlessly and consistently defended the open Internet when most people didn't really care. Thanks for the movie @ethereumfilm ! My wife watched it with me and now she seems to better understand crypto and why I care. Still thinks I’m an idiot though, just not the only one.

I really hope that what’s happening with WordPress vs WPEngine will help people who value open source realize how un-open it is. We need to start building better alternatives now. All the building blocks are already there.

I'm new here and decided to go the easy way, via Warpcast. *Very* surprised it doesn't have an equivalent of X's "Following" tab. I was sure it's be the default in any Farcaster client that's not driven by ads revenue. Weird.

People who hate loading dishwashers just haven’t experienced an alternative. I got dishwasher at home first time in my life this summer. Loading it is the best part of my day. I will literally fight Optimus if he tries to take it away from me.
