Can Warpcast avoid a fate of monetizing with ads?

i think it’ll be easier to do interesting transaction based revenue on warpcast compared to non crypto social media apps

launching tokens @megaphone-hq (fka @deform)

ads work as long as there are enough users (demand for ads) AND if the ad suppliers have the ability to target well (good experience for users) -- unclear when warpcast hits escape velocity on this network effect

in the short/middle-term, farcaster could maybe take transaction fees on various crypto integrations and use that to fund warpcast development

could be a better experience for everyone, and then layer in ads after

I personally would pay for a much better feed

I’m forming a view that ads + infinite scroll are a natural business model and product pairing 

If you want to get rid of ads, you need to rethink your product canvas. Warpcast is an infinite scroll dopamine slot machine and I personally think it will naturally find the gravity of ads irresistible
