Okay some former FTX asshats are starting a new self custody exchange product in Dubai. They’re calling it Backpack. I have the trademark for Backpack Wallet

We’re still small, objectively there is very little friction to change names vs later on. 

I’m torn between 😡 and 🤷🏼 

Thoughts, advice?

One way of looking at that is from the perspective of what helps you serve the customer well, and to continue serving as you scale.

Does changing the name impede either? Does fighting them on a trademark help? If it does, do the resources you spend on it detract from product?

In terms of emotional turmoil this is 3/10 so I’ll be fine either way. I won’t chase it very far, you captured the P&L pretty accurately. I’m down to go through the first steps that @cassie has suggested beyond that my primary concern is shipping not fighting especially over a patch of name-dirt
