Any farcasters familiar with web3 data platforms like dune, goldsky, bitquery?  

What do you love hate about them?

Dune:

Love that queries are shareable and re-usable (for the most part). Most popular or trending ones are easy to find.

Hate that it takes longer than what is absolutely necessary to get started on writing my own 🤔

Just trying to get a sense of the landscape out there. I think these platforms are great but there aren’t that many of them and I wonder how they differentiate.

I’ve had very similar conversations about their valuation. It’s a utility, and sure a good one, but something doesn’t add up.

Asked a few ppl and seems like everyone I know has a hard time reconciling their experience with Dune’s valuation (1B), just as an example. Don’t mean to dunk, I’m just not sure first mover adv applies to these platforms as readily as ppl seem to assume
