In our 20s we have equal amounts of action vs inaction regrets on average 

By 40s+ the inaction regrets (stuff one didn’t do but could have) outnumber the action regrets by four to one I.e. 4x times more inaction than action regrets on average

- Moral: “if only I’d done the right thing”
- Foundation: “if only I’d done the work” 
- Boldness: “if only I’d taken the chance”
