HBO Documentary to Uncover Bitcoin Creator's Identity An upcoming HBO documentary, "Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery," aims to reveal the true identity of Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. Nakamoto, who disappeared in December 2010, is believed to control about 1.1 million bitcoins, worth around $67 billion. Directed by Cullen Hoback, known for "Q: Into the Storm," the documentary features a controversial claim linking Nakamoto to Len Sassaman, a figure associated with the cryptocurrency space who tragically took his own life. DeFillama Airdrops Tool I thought I'd take another look at this since most of the airdrops I've been looking forward to for 2024 have already happened. DeFillama has a section where you can see tokenless protocols and sort by how much they've raised, which I've done here. This list doesn't cover chains/L2s, and doesn't seem to get updated very often, so I don't tend to look at it much. Some already have tokens, or are dead projects. It still has ones that I've never heard about before though. Not every project needs a token of course, but I think most will have one anyway.

EigenLayer Lifts Restrictions on EIGEN Token EigenLayer has lifted transfer restrictions on its EIGEN token, allowing holders to move their assets freely. The token is now tradable on various exchanges following its distribution during two stakedrops from an initial supply of 1.67 billion tokens. The circulating supply is estimated at around 200 million. Currently priced at $4.28, EigenLayer has a fully diluted valuation of $7.1 billion. The platform allows users to stake Ether for third-party networks, with total value locked at over $12 billion

Japanese listed company Metaplanet added 107.91 BTC to its holdings 👀 This follows a September 10th announcement of a ¥299.7 million stock purchase to fund further Bitcoin acquisitions. Scroll Protocol Change in TVL Since session 0 when Scroll first distributed marks, certain protocols have benefitted a lot. People were quick to bridge more assets over to earn more points, and depositing in DeFi protocols earns more marks than just leaving them sitting in your wallet. As you can see below, Rho has benefitted the most with over a 4,000% change since the campaign began. This may be due to people looping though. On July 19th Rho Markets was exploited for $7 million, causing the Scroll team to pause the whole chain. TVL briefly plummeted but has almost recovered since.

💥Goldman Sachs corrects recession risk, what does Bitcoin say about it?⏰ Goldman Sachs lowered the risk of a recession in the US from 25% to 20% on the basis of strong data from the labor market. The improvement in the economic situation is positive for the US stock markets, but less so for the crypto market. A cut in interest rates may support Bitcoin, but it does not guarantee a sustainable bull market in this market.
