CompassMining, a mining company, has deployed 3000 Bitcoin mining machines in its newly partnered Iowa custody facility, and plans to install an additional 1000 machines in September. This expansion will increase the capacity of the facility by 12.5 megawatts (MW). According to Compass Mining, this measure is part of its expansion strategy. By the end of 2024, the company plans to manage approximately 30 megawatts of electricity in multiple locations across the United States, including Indiana, Ohio, Nebraska, and Texas. @fturhmnassydq
