do something that makes somebody want to follow you. be a person who is interesting enough to earn a follower without asking. that is the general challenge here. ily

this isn’t directed at anyone, have just seen uptick. and is really just longstanding tervo stance, i simply find it uncouth to ask for follow in almost any context. maybe overly dictatorial but that’s the challenge innit

wrt tryna hit 400 and get active badge, i very much empathize but am cautious ya know. in general if you do something sufficiently creative and mention it like idc. if u just ask, idk that’s meh to me. i dont want that to proliferate. feel like by now lots of u kinda understand the stance but is worth bumping
