On January 30, 1956 in Nagano, Japan, Keiichi Tsuchiya was born, a man who would completely turn the history of car racing upside down. Like many other pilots, he began his racing career at a very young age, participating in local Japanese championships, where he did not take any outstanding places. Just like all boys of that time, he adored cars and tried to be closer to them. But after the races he went where his heart really called him - to the mountains. There he learned the art of sideways driving, acquiring skills that became the basis of his future success in the drifting world.
