Applies to all new social networks, not just web3 social. I peek what happened with Threads during the first weeks when Meta launched it: too much engagement farming, killed most of the vibe.

Not easy i know but being thoughtful/intentional for the audience you want to attract is impt.

Fully permissionless social will always end that way, esp w SocialFi / airdrop farming in Frames

No amount of Points will change that

The question becomes - what architecture for social applications would best augment and unlock the true power of Web3: permissionless ownership and money?
