Has it been explained why the direct messages have to be automatically deleted ? Is this a Warpcast thing or is it something designed to be like that at protocol level?

The docs say that direct casts are not part of the Farcaster protocol yet, they are just a Warpcast feature rn (although with an open API): https://docs.farcaster.xyz/reference/warpcast/direct-casts
