trail run this morning before FWB Fest officially kicks off. PSA if you trail run with headphones in, you’re doing it wrong :)

Last time I did that was in Slovenia. While I was running I heard some noises thinking it was a dog coming to me. Luckily it was a wild deer that run away as soon as I was visible. I still remember the fear of being it a dog in the middle of nowhere.

no way! this hits home. i once did a trail run alone near Zion and crossed some fresh ooo and then saw a mountain lion that hadn’t noticed me yet. unlocked a totally new type of fear.
