These days, with all the family discussing politics, being subtle about not wanting to talk about some topic because you and the other person are entirely on opposite sides does not work. Being transparent is difficult, as even when you don't want to talk by saying it clearly, the other person will get mad at you. Unfortunately, in both cases, the other person gets angry no matter what you do.
