It’s a long drawn out story and tbh I don’t know. Apparently he agreed to let his friend do the drop but passed away. Rarible got hit w a DMCA but eventually the art was up again. Went from 0.01 to 10 eth thanks to cheap pumping by questionable art influencers Then Biggie’s family sued and his portrait was removed. We were told the proceeds were to benefit his daughter in Nigeria. I went to lengths to get confirmation but couldn’t The lack of clarity never sat well with me but at the same time the team worked hard honoring his legacy Shit got weird with suggestions of a Chi hologram in the metaverse. I’m so happy that never came to pass. I had 5 and they all got drained in a phishing scam 🤣 Team dropped 2 more collections that aren’t organized very well so it’s kind of a fun challenge digging them up
