There is some serious political turmoil happening in Turkey right now with an election coming soon. The Mayor of Istanbul was jailed earlier this week as he has been a vocal critic of Erdogan and is (was?) a top contender this election season. It was banned due to market instability, turkey usually ban short-selling stocks to protect market In time of crisis and currently i think the detention of the former Istanbul Mayor might cause crisis in the market
