1. reply to my casts thoughtfully and kindly with something additive or contrarian

2. join my URL poker games or IRL/URL experiences and engage

i both cast and host experiences A LOT, ample opportunities for new users

Im not judging whether someone is a good caster or not. I certainly don’t think I’m a great caster. I mostly cast good morning and the frames I’m building.

But it’s still a very obvious commonality. All the ones I’ve seen (so far) are followed by very high profile FC users. Could be a coincidence.

it isn't a coincidence. if i engage with someone's content (reply or quote cast or recast), it is more likely to be seen by my following and therefore more likely to get more engagement and make the list.

the cast isn't making a point about good vs bad casters, it is providing a guide for how i follow people.

didn't mean to flame you, wanted to encourage users that there isn't some crazy algo for me to follow them -- they just need to show up and be kind (and somewhat interesting)

i will open up a "learn poker" round so you can get the hang of it before you put some $$ on the line :) good feedback.

I’d love to join your poker games but I think the last time I saw, you had to put actual money on the line and I have no idea how to play poker and don’t want to burn my money 🤣
