nicole: most traditional gene therapy approaches typically target very rare disorders that affect 100 or 200 people per year, but what if we asked: can we have a universal gene therapy? her explanation of using gene therapy to retrain your immune system is world class. a cast recap simply wouldn’t suffice.

jcal: what about gene therapy for people who aren’t sick? nicole: nightvision, that’s easy. ability to metabolize food from another environment, so you can consume foods if we live on other planets (Mars!!). male pattern baldness. lots of beauty things like wrinkles, cellulite. mental health is a huge one, too.
