on a run and see a mom w/ 2 kids on a schoolbus cargo bike tip over in the middle of a road.

2 other women jump out of their parked cars and the 3 of us stop traffic to grab the kids, mom + heavy bike.

mom’s clavicle was v broken but she was a total champ for her kids.

and this is the story of how i felt like i was having the worst day ever and the universe wanted to remind me that perspective is everything.

dramatic and scary, I’m glad so many came to her aid 

reminds me of a time I witnessed a pedestrian get hit by a car and then driver stopped and rushed over to the injured man, got him in his back seat and drove off, presumably to a hospital 
(Not in the US obv) it gave me chills
