/nature (newly acquired, working on this one now) Stadium sized cozy corner for nature loving scrolls /lightchasers (Started this one) Niche photography channel /jc (personal musings) /distribution (the hardest part of building, something that most ignore until they can't, going to be working on this one soon)

have you identified anything that is helpful in building a sense of community in these channels? any blockers? what’s been good and bad about the experience?

In February, I started co-hosting /itookaphoto with @inceptionally who created the channel. A lot of new people were coming onto FC/WC and I knew/followed a bunch of them from X/Insta. I would DM them and invite them to cast in ITAP. This was the first step in building a community of great artists. I've spent the past few days inviting artist I admire to cast in /nature, I have a lot more to go. But this is how you get quality casters who do great work. #1 is invite people to join you as you build a community. #2 is getting to know people in your channel by having conversations about their work or something they cast about. Go deeper. #3 Create positive vibes. Be nice, compliment people's work/ideas. Share their work by re-casting or pinning.
