respectfully i don't see the necessity of bringing up corporate greed, Greenland or MAGA. irregardless of all your political points (even if they may be valid), there were practical things that could've been done at the local (LA) + state (CA) level in which are essentially one-party systems.

Also @ted , you’re right that fires like this happen, but they really shouldn’t to this scale this time of the year. California has seen its most destructive fires in the last 10 years - and we continue to strip the resources we need to mitigate them in order to placate corporate greed. 

Trump is going to do this to Greenland next. 

Are these fires worth it for “civilization” advancement (let’s be clear who civilization is to MAGA: it’s the rich. Preferably white rich people with trad wives.)
