hard truths:

1. crypto isn’t growing, in fact it’s more cringe than ever because of the new admin embracing it / $trump

2. it’s not realistic to generate a full-time sustainable income on farcaster, $degen and $higher were anomaly wealth events

3. majority of the world doesn’t think in terms of markets 24/7

I can't help but laugh at this:

- Crypto wasn't cringe when poor people in the Philippines lost their life savings on the Axie Infinity pay-to-earn ponzi scheme.
- Crypto wasn't cringe when Elon pumped Doge coin or Shiba Inu copied it
- Crypto wasn't cringe when Nouns where daily being purchased for more than what 90% of Americans make in a year
- Crypto wasn't cringe when SBF stole money from depositors in his exchange and gave money to politicians (mostly Democrats)

But, now, crypto is more cringe than ever because... Trump

I'm no fan of Trump, but in this case he just a mirror that the crypto community is peering into and doesn't like what it sees.

Ted, this is not directed at you, you are accurately capturing the sentiment of many.

no, crypto was cringe during all of those moments. the point is that i observed many in crypto assuming the new admin's embrace of our industry would change the sentiment, and it didn't.

i have spoken against all the cringe stuff you listed above. please don't make it seem like i all of a sudden think its cringe.

I should have been way more clear in my cast that I was not attributing that "all of the sudden crypto is cringe" sentiment to you. You have been an awesome spokesperson for this space.
