Can you give me the TLDR of how I narrow cast? Yet to read an explanation on if I have to do something specific or if it just does it by default

takes some clicking and not super intuitive

default is cast to everyone. channel only is best for specific topics you don't wanna spam followers with (like the debate).

draft cast -> choose channel -> once channel is chosen, everyone pops up -> drops down to everyone vs. followers only -> followers only

Actually depends some channels if is narrowcasting that shows up automatically. Sorta baffles me. 

Tested it out a few times myself still seeing how and when it works.
