1. Why does my score go down?

If users remove likes / recasts / replies, the engagement score for each cast will be recalculated when the job runs hourly. We will likely tweak this in early 2025 so you don't lose score.

2. Should I cast less to get a higher score?

No. It's based on total inbound engagement. If you have a lot of followers, your engagement score is normalized relative to accounts that have fewer followers. But casting more with decent engagement will lead to a higher score than casting a few times with really high engagement.

3. Newer accounts with few casts are scoring highly
Yes. We adjust for active followers, which makes a difference. We will likely revisit and tweak the adjustment if it feels like the meta shifts too much toward new accounts. We want a balanced game.

4.  What is an active follower?
A follower active in the last [redacted] days and is not an account Warpcast believes to be spammy.

i like it surfacing and rewarding new accounts, please keep the follower adjustment!

only feedback is a) to make the usernames in the leaderboard clickable so i can go directly to profile, b) to make a sublist list of “new users” where i can more easily find and follow them
